iN PIZZA WE TRUST.

Do you like pizza? Of course you do. That’s a rhetorical question. Everyone likes pizza.

MOTO Pizza isn’t an ordinary pizzeria. You get one choice: Bottomless Pizza, your very own pizza roulette where no piece is the same.

This is pizza like no other!.. Our dough is made on site every morning with Italian flour... Fresh sauce is made using San Marzano tomatoes... then once we open our doors all our ingredients are freshly cooked in Chelmsford's only wood-fired oven right in front of your very eyes by our amazing Pizzaolios!

HOW IT WORKS.

Hit the green light at your table, and the MOTO waiters will bring a slice straight over. When your eyes start getting bigger than your belly, switch it off to have a break or to signal you are bailing out.

We offer the classics alongside unique flavour combinations. You will discover the ingredients you love but never considered as a pizza topping. All pizzas are served on a sourdough base, making it easier to digest than an ordinary slice of calorie-bursting pizza.

Science lesson: Sourdough allows us to absorb nutrients in the flour more easily. The fermentation process produces gut-healthy lactobacillus bacteria, and it gives us less of a blood sugar spike. There’s a health benefit in there somewhere, so you can leave your slice shaming at the door.

We offer the classics with a couple of wildcards thrown in.

Lunch (12-4pm)

   Weekday - £10

   Weekend - £12.5

Dinner - £15.

Mini Motos (3-10 years) - £6.

Add 2 scoops of icecream - £2.

Side Salad - £3.5

Dips - £1.5

wine on tap

Wine on tap guarantees a better quality glass of wine with every pour. Wine in kegs stays fresher with no oxidation or corkage. It also means zero wastage and a 96% reduction in carbon footprint compared to wine poured from bottles. It's time for you to join the kegged revolution!

For all you coffee aficionados, there’s a new kid on the caffeinated block, and it goes by the name of Nitro Coffee.

Supplied by Bury St Edmunds roasters, Frank and Ernest, Nitro Coffee has also made a splash as an on-tap Espresso Martini.

If coffee liqueurs aren’t your usual tipple, you can pick from our other after-dinner delights. Go for the zesty freshness of limoncello or the bitter kick of an Aperol to end your meal. We’ve got you covered.

what people say.

Wow, best pizza I've ever eaten, great concept with 'Pizza roulette' - put your light on, on your table, and they bring you one or two slices of red hot, fresh, tasty pizza. Finish that, put the light on, and repeat - for as long as you can eat! The pizza just keeps coming, all fresh, all hot, all different types. Waiting staff are plentiful cheerful and efficient Decor is eclectic and tasteful. £15 a head is a bargain too. Really nice pace, recommended.

about us.

MOTO Mission

MOTO’s Pizza dining experience is built on local sustainable produce and reducing waste. Menus lead to excessive choices, and ultimately food that becomes fit only for the bin. By removing a menu, we eliminate food waste and continuously surprise diners, giving you an opportunity to indulge in a one of a kind shared dining experience.

It should be compulsory to share food when dining out anyway. How can you really say you’ve experienced a restaurant if you’ve only sampled one meal?

MOTO By Name

Born through love for sharing food,  MOTO Pizza is the brainchild of a sibling duo who quit the rat race to pursue a career as pizzaologists from the future.

The name itself has a 'back to the futuristic' nod, as long as you remember that croaked robotic voice repeating the words ‘HELLO MOTO’  from the Motorola advert of yesteryear. Moto (said in a robotic voice) has remained a family nickname so the name of their pizza joint couldn't be anything else.
